Pet Community Information Board

Our "Pet Community Information Board" is Greensboro's headquarters for current
events and happenings in our local area. Located in our entryway, our board has all the
latest information to keep you up-to-date about community pet events, area non-profit
organizations, lost and found animals, pet services, Rabies clinics, animal adoptions,
and volunteer opportunities. If it's about Greensboro pets, you'll find it here. Drop
by during business hours and check out the board.

Charitable Funds

Since February 2008, Happy Tails has donated over $42,000 in products and
services for the care of strays and wildlife.

"Warm Hearts, Wet-Noses" is our charitable fund to contribute to the medical care of stray
cats and dogs. All contributions to this fund are directly donated to the Guilford County
Animal Shelter for the continued medical care for the stray animals brought to Happy Tails.

"Wildlife Rehabiliation Fund" is our charitable fund to contribute to the rehabilitation of
injured and orphaned wild animals from the Greensboro area. All contributions to this fund
are directly donated to the Wildlife Care, Inc., a Greensboro non-profit organization. For more
wildlife information, click here.

“No Fire Engine Left Behind Initiative” is our program to benefit fire departments of the
greater Triad area. Since January 2009, Happy Tails has donated over 20 pet oxygen mask
sets to fire departments in the greater Triad area and adjacent counties. The contribution
of these masks will help fire fighters provide oxygen to pets with smoke inhalation, trauma,
or other life threatening conditions. Happy Tails will continue to support the fire departments
of the community by providing them with the tools they need to help care for pets in emergency
situations. If you would like to donate to this initiative, please contact Lee Allen (336-288-2688).
