Dr. Angela Bentley
Position: Associate Veterinarian
Background:
Dr. Angela Bentley was born and raised in Ontario, Canada. She followed her love of animals and
desires to help them by attending and graduating from the Ontario Veterinary College in Guelph, Ontario.
Her dislike of the cold winters in Ontario, drove Dr. Bentley south and she moved to Mocksville, North
Carolina as soon as she graduated in 2001. During school, she devoted extra time to learning emergency
medicine in the ICU. She also spent several weeks working in a 24 hour critical care facility in Pennsylvania.
Dr. Bentley and her husband, Chris, have one child together named Preston. They also have three other
children from previous relationships including Katlynn, Christopher, and Dillion. Family is a very important
part of her very valuable time off.
Pets:
Dr. Bentley and her family have several animals on their farm. There are six dogs including Too Tuff, Sweet
Pea, KD, Lucy, Ginger and Dally. Tigger and Junebug make up the feline part of the family. There are also four
birds including: Sam, a Green Winged Macaw; Tommy, an Alexandrian Ringneck; Hollywood, a Quaker Parrot;
and Palmer, a Cockatoo.
Dr. Bentley and her husband met and instantly became good friends with Dr. Gebhardt and her husband, Lee.
Dr. Bentley is very proud of Dr Gebhardt and Lee for the great accomplishment of devising the idea and
following through with the wonderful hospital they’ve created. Everyone at Happy Tails is very caring and loving.
They treat all the animals as they would their own. Your pet will only get the best treatment possible at Happy Tails.
